Network Transport Engineering (NTE) is responsible for Network Services infrastructure implementation and project management, including needs analysis, assessment, planning, staging and installation, documentation, billing, and coordinating support personnel. NTEs also support the ongoing management and maintenance of network service components encompassing equipment closets and racks; riser, conduit, power, and cabling systems; switches, routers, and wireless transceivers; architectural and electrical schematic diagrams.
One to three years of related experience.
Preferred but not required: Cisco CCNA wired certifications, knowledge and experience with hardware, software, and test and management tools, structured cable installation and project management experience.
