Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-time Patient Transporter for Transport Services at Morristown Medical Center to work 3:00pm - 11:00pm including every other weekend.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Candidate will be responsible to support the patient care teams in transporting patients to and from diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Candidate will be responsible to support the patient care teams with transporting equipment, including oxygen to and from units.
• Candidate must have excellent communication skills to interact with patients and teams.
• Candidate must be physically able to lift, push, pull minimum 50lbs.
• Candidate must be physically able to assist a patient to the standing position and safely use assistive devices. (i.e. lifts, slide boards, walkers, canes)
• Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.

Minimum Education:

• High School diploma or GED required.

Minimum Experience:

• 1-2 years of Health-care experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• CPR, BLS certification preferred.
• Certification or License in a patient care field preferred.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 
  Requires lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs as an fundamental part of the job.
