Link Transit is hiring a Principal Planner/Capital Projects.  As an integral part of the planning team you will perform and manage politically sensitive professional planning projects, research, and analysis.  We are looking for an analytical thinker – you enjoy the challenge of solving issues and making sound decisions.  You do not need to be an engineer but should be able to “speak the language.”  It is strongly desired for the successful candidate to have a transit background with FTA funded capital projects and grant writing.  Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Planning/Engineering, or related field along with 5 years’ experience with transit planning and development programs required.  Your Master’s degree and/or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Certification is a plus.

Salary range: $86,397 - $107,898/annually
