The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) seeks a Director-Standards to lead APTA’s Standards Program and serve as the resource within the association on technical issues and best practices.  The Director manages the standards-generation process, including oversight of staff and supporting consultants, prioritization of the standards projects, development of metrics to guide the standards program, and interfaces with the working groups and policy and planning committees involved in generating and maintaining standards.  In addition, APTA periodically seeks grants from Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) under federal standards programs.  If any such grants are awarded, the Director will be responsible for leading and managing the re
