PIONEER VALLEY PLANNING COMMISSION (PVPC)

TRANSIT PLANNER/SENIOR TRANSIT PLANNER I/SENIOR TRANSIT PLANNER II/PRINCIPAL TRANSIT PLANNER TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT

One position is available.

The PVPC is seeking candidates for a Transit Planner/Senior Transit Planner I/Senior Transit Planner II/ Principal Transit Planner.  This position will provide extensive technical support services to the regional transportation planning for the PVPC’s 43-community service area with a focus on transit planning for the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) as well as passenger rail planning. The ideal candidate values working collaboratively and has an interest in Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) activities. This position will require presence in the office and in the field.

The PVPC is a qualified employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program (PSLF).
