Associate Engineering Inspector
POSITION SUMMARY: Under general direction of District Engineering staff, inspects the District, Bridge, Bus and Ferry facilities; and performs related duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs condition inspections of the District facilities. Inspects the work of contractors engaged under contracts with the District in construction of facilities capital improvement projects; makes recommendations for acceptance or rejection of work. Perform tasks in the quality assurance sampling and testing of construction materials for compliance with construction contract specifications. Inspects the work of District maintenance crews engaged in maintenance projects on the Golden Gate Bridge and other District facilities. W
