Responsible for the transportation of students to and from a variety of locations in a safe and courteous manner. Will inspect vehicles before and after use and report any issues to the transportation manager. Operate vehicles in all weather conditions with student safety being paramount. Must be comfortable sitting/driving for extended periods of time. Ability to review and comprehend maps and other necessary documentation. Shifts to be determined.
Please NOTE: The shift requires the employee to work the afternoon and evening schedules.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver's license. Completion of a State Certified Drivers Education Course and a demonstrated clean driving record. Ability to communicate effectively with students and others. Must be able to work independently while representing the College of the Holy Cross. Accept instruction and direction well and speak fluent English. Ability to navigate in city, highway and rural driving areas with skill and comfort regardless of weather conditions. Employment subject to in house driver training, a clean drug screening and other conditions of employment.

This is an On-Call, Non-Exempt position.
Hours include various shifts 7 days per week AM / Afternoon and PM
There are also longer trips available to Boston, Western MA, TF Green Airport, etc.
