Oversees and maintains all PARCS software, hardware, and related systems to ensure optimal function and revenue collection.
Oversees and maintains all parking-related equipment on campus. Strong IT skills are needed.
Supervises staff which includes but is not limited to the Parking Monitors and the Parking and Transportation Coordinators.
Assists with review process and recommends programs for the training and professional development of staff.
Assists with selection, motivation and disciplining of staff.
Ensures the duties, tasks and functions of staff under their responsibility are carried out in an efficient and effective manner at all times.
Resolves student, faculty, and staff complaints about Parking Services and related issues.
Exhibits strong organization, customer service, communication, and planning skills.
Supervises operations for the University parking lots and facilities. Prepares programs and activities related to motor vehicle registration, campus parking, and parking lot operations.
Supervises employees directly including selection, training, performance appraisal and work allocation.
Evaluates impact of the system on the budget (revenue and expenses).
Performs other related work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
Minimum of three years of progressively responsible administrative and customer service function.
Parking and transportation operations, TDM coordination, customer service, and administrative experience.
One year of cash handling management experience.
Two years of customer service experience.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Familiarity with parking and transit operation, police department, or administrative functions.
Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office.
