Xpan’s Instructional Designers play a pivotal role in our mission to provide custom learning solutions that bring organizational culture and goals to life. Dedicated to crafting high-quality content that aligns seamlessly with our vision, and credo. We focus on developing curriculum that adheres to the core principles of adult learning, ensuring the Knowledge Experience adheres to the style guide, and is presented with one voice. Our Instructional Designers are responsible for updating, maintaining, designing, and developing educational tools, templates, and demonstrations. This role interacts with other multimedia specialists and may be required to help with additional development of graphical and eLearning education materials. Content Development and Design:
Establish and uphold new standards for the quality of work and professional practices.
Develop, repurpose, edit, and proof curriculum and content.
Contribute to the development of eLearning templates, storyboards, and wire-frame designs.
Assist in the development of blended eLearning applications.
Take an active role in quality control for eLearning projects.
Work on large projects involving intricate technical content, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client requirements.
Project Leadership:
Work seamlessly with a larger team, including multimedia developers, 3D artists, and the AR/VR team, to ensure the integration of diverse expertise.
Assist in the management and implementation of new and existing processes and procedures.
Mentor and coach junior Instructional Designers.
Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
Identify project risks and contribute to effective problem-solving solutions.
Client Service and Relationship Building:
Collaborate directly with clients to understand their learning needs and provide expert guidance.
Ensure a consistently high standard of client service.
Develop, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:
Certificate or Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or Technical Communication.
Possess at least 5 years of experience in the learning, communications, or multimedia fields.
Experience in maintenance and operations training in public transportation, specifically battery electric bus, light rail or commuter rail preferred.
Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Exhibit attention to detail.
Display the ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
Showcase excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
Have knowledge of design and development methodologies for eLearning courses, simulations, and demos.
Bring experience in implementing web-based enterprise solutions (LMS, LCMS knowledge a plus).
