Federal Transit Administration Regional Administrator (Kansas City, MO) This is a Senior Executive Service Position The incumbent serves as Regional Administrator of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and exercises executive direction over activities in the Region to effectively promote, implement, and administer Federal public transportation law, carrying out FTA's mission to improve America's communities through public transportation. Represents the Administrator of the FTA in the Region and directs the planning and development of comprehensive, coordinated, mass transportation systems.  Represents and speaks for the FTA Administrator in the resolution of highly controversial policy and political issues throughout the Region
