Utah Transit Authority is seeking a Government Relations Director to lead their state and federal government strategies and relationships.

About the Role:

• Develop comprehensive government relations strategies across federal, state, and local levels
• Conduct legislative analysis and provide strategic recommendations to the Board
• Build and maintain relationships with Utah legislators, federal delegations, and key stakeholders
• Lead a team focused on advancing UTA's policy goals and interests
• Salary range: $135,000 - $165,000 with exceptional benefits

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven track record in government relations, particularly at the Utah state level
• Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate complex political landscapes
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• At least five years of relevant experience
