Job Description: Under the direction of the Regional Manager, Maintenance & Technical Services, the Chief Inspector is responsible for research and development of technical specifications for fixed route and demand responsive vehicles. Essential Functions include: Coordination of manufacture, inspection, delivery, and placement in service of same. Reviews/revises other technical requirements for the on-going inspection and support of more than 1,200 revenue and non-revenue vehicles. Administers warranty claims and manufacturer recalls.  This is a safety sensitive position.
