Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-time Transporter at Morristown Medical Center. Hours vary, and will require every other weekend. Responsibilities Candidate will be responsible to support the patient care teams in transporting patients to and from diagnostic tests and procedures.Candidate will be responsible to support the patient care teams with transporting equipment, including oxygen to and from units.Candidate must have excellent communication skills to interact with patients and teams.Candidate must be physically able to lift, push, pull minimum 50lbs.Candidate must be physically able to assist a patient to the standing position and safely use assistive devices. (i.e. lifts, slide boards, walkers, canes).
