DescriptionTransports inpatients and outpatients to and from their destinations safely within the hospital. Assists patients and patient care staff.RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION: High School or equivalent required.CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Basic Life Support (BLS) issued through American Heart Association required, or must be attained within two weeks of employment.SKILLS: Ability to learn to use the following: wheelchairs, gurneys, electric beds, cell phones, and digital pagers.
