This is a major career opportunity to lead the bus maintenance function in the nation’s 19th-largest multimodal transit agency. The General Superintendent of Maintenance executes the vision of the agency’s public-transit goals and has oversight of a large, metropolitan bus fleet’s day-to-day operations. In this key leadership position, the Superintendent recruits, hires, and evaluates the performance of salaried staff; works with union leadership and private contractors to ensure cooperative, service-oriented performance; guides adherence to federal regulations; sets the standard for and achieves maintenance and engineering benchmarks; and
