Atlantic Health System is seeking multiple per-diem Patient Transporters for Transport Services at Overlook Medical Center to work varied hours and weekends.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Candidate will be responsible to support the patient care teams in transporting patients to and from diagnostic tests and procedures.
Candidate will be responsible to support the patient care teams with transporting equipment, including oxygen to and from units.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills to interact with patients and teams.
Candidate must be physically able to lift, push, pull minimum 50lbs.
Candidate must be physically able to assist a patient to the standing position and safely use assistive devices. (i.e. lifts, slide boards, walkers, canes)

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience:
1-2 years of Health-care experience preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
CPR, BLS certification preferred.
Certification or License in a patient care field preferred.
Qualifications:
Requires lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs as an fundamental part of the job.
